(Hamilton, NJ) -

Treasurer's Briefcase hosted an informational seminar on booster club compliance on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the Steinert High School library. Dave Lauer and Kristin Millen from the accounting firm of Lauer and Millen, CPAs, described to over 20 booster club board members the steps necessary to be a compliant charitable organization in the state of New Jersey.Members of almost every sports booster club were in attendance.

The event was made possible by the Steinert High School Athletic Director who invited Dave and Kristen to help his clubs become legitimate charitable organizations independent of the school.
